Charlie Byrd played for many years in the 1960’s in the Showboat Lounge on 18th St., MW. At some time he moved to a club in Annapolis, which was called Byrd’s Nest. Never heard of The Vineyard.

Yes Westminster Presbyterian church in SW DC has live jazz every Friday night from 6-9 pm . Cost is $10 children under 12 free admission.
