This poll is almost laughable because of it’s exclusion of some of our alltime greats, starting with Wayne Shorter and moving quickly to Joe Henderson, Harold Land, Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon and Bennie Golson. At least they noticed Jackie McLean!

I was playing piano at the time but it was Desmond voice that I kept hearing. I have now been playing the saxophone for 24 years.
