He signed one of my albums with a felt pen scrawling over the whole cover. It is one of my favorite possessions. His free jazz beginnings are worth exploring, but I think the real Pharoah, the one I met in person, truly appeared in Karma, and ever since I first heard it, I’ve agreed with Pharoah that the Creator Has A Master Plan. I followed him with A Journey to the One and then Save Our Children, and always thought Message From Home: Our Roots Began In Africa, was a message to all peoples, white, black, etc. that we are all a part of the One. OK, not fashionable, to say now, but I do believe that is what Pharoah was telling us.
