Thanks for writing Paul – I think start with a borrowed horn is a good idea! The Jean Paul brand is a great mix of quality and budget-friendly instrument if you decide to keep going and would probably be suitable for a good few years before you might start looking for a vintage or premium/pro sax… Good luck!

Thanks for this write up and comparison.
