Another rare recording from the 1980s “Flutter By, Butterfly”, a recording in 5tet on Soul Note (an Italian label) is excellent as well. For those who want to hear more of his large ensemble writing, “Kayak” from the mid-1990s is excellent. I hope that it’s still available because it was on a little known label.
